All people experience stress at some point in their lives, such as the loss of a job, caring for aging parents, preparing to enter college, moving to an unfamiliar place, or dealing with on-going issues like depression. Health and Human Services support people experiencing these types of stressors so they can maintain well-being and quality of life throughout their lifespan. Communities are healthier and stronger when people have access to the Health and Human Services.
Sammamish promotes a healthy community, where meeting basic human needs is considered a shared responsibility. Although the City is not a provider of Health and Human Services, it collaborates with local and regional agencies that do.
The City of Sammamish is conducting a Health and Human Services Needs Assessment to learn more about the needs in our community. Information provided here will be used to develop an Implementation Strategy. Your feedback will be used by the City to determine how it will support Health and Human Services over the next few years.
