Parks, recreation facilities, and open spaces provide opportunities for recreation, relaxation, walking, and community gathering. Your input will guide decisions on, and the prioritization of:
- The development of new parks and recreation facilities including Recreation Centers and Aquatic Complexes,
- Access to trails and open spaces, and
- Potential acquisitions of properties for recreational use.
Background
The Mission Valley Community Plan is the “blueprint” for development in the community. The Plan is in the process of undergoing an update to guide the form of development and priorities for public investments over the next 20 years. This brief survey focuses on parks and open spaces and serves as a chance for people who live, work, shop, or play in Mission Valley to provide feedback on this component of the community's future.
For more information about the Community Plan Update and to stay up to date about the process, visit the Mission Valley Community Plan Update website. If you have any questions about the survey or about the Mission Valley Community Plan Update, contact Nancy Graham, Senior Planner for the City of San Diego, at [email protected] or (619) 236-6891.
