Cheaply-built house from the late 1970s. Terrible, leaky aluminum window frames. Brick facing on house. Serious dampness with mold n musty smell. Outdated electric baseboard heat = EXPENSIVE
What other concerns or suggestions do you have about housing?
Pleeease have some truly affordable Apts, tiny homes, modular living, co-housing communities, a/or container homes avail in Asheville! I've lived here for 13+ yrs, and can't find any affordable housing. I work in the service sector -- as a senior caregiver, flower designer, paid gardener, and artist. I was raised middle class, but I've somehow slipped down to a lower rung on the economic ladder. I don't want to have to live in a Section 8 type housing project. And I don't want to live in a slum. Pleeease help those who are artists -- we need somewhere affordable, in order to continue living in Asheville!!
