    I think it's kind of a sham. To pretend the APD has respect for Black people while incidents like the one with Mr. Rush happen and are hidden from the public. It's good to honor good people, but not as a substitute for actually tackling the systemic racism endemic in the APD. Fix the force before naming anything.
