Share your thoughts on shared bicycles and scooters in the city of Asheville

Shared mobility is the term used to describe mobility options that are based on sharing the use of a vehicle, including cars, motorcycles, scooters, bicycles or other travel modes. Shared mobility provides people with short-term access to one of these modes of travel as it is needed.

Examples of this type of service include bike share (such as B-Cycle and Zagster), ride sourcing (such as Uber and Lyft), carshare (such as UhaulCarShare and ZipCar), and scooter share (such as Bird and Lime).

In this survey, we are asking about your opinions on shared bicycles and scooters.

Input received will be considered, along with input from public meetings, and summarized in a staff report to Asheville City Council for their consideration of whether or how to allow shared bicycles and/or scooters in the city.
