About
Your input means a lot to us. It’s why we launched Open City Hall, an online platform designed to engage residents in a conversation that will capture their thoughts on important issues. Here you can read what others are saying about important Tamarac topics and provide your own feedback.
How does it work? On a periodic basis, we’ll post a topic for additional public input. A topic will be open for comment for a limited time. We will then consider those statements as part of the decision-making process and provide a summary of the input.
Open City Hall is run by OpenGov, a non-partisan company whose mission is to broaden civic engagement and build public trust in government. The first time you post, you will be asked for your name and home address. This confidential information (see privacy agreement) is used only to identify statements from residents in and near Tamarac - so that users know which statements are from residents.
As with any public comment process, we ask that you focus on the topic and be respectful of others. City officials will consider input from this forum, along with all other channels for participation, as part of the decision-making process. You are always welcome to attend City Commission meetings, neighborhood meetings, visit us at City Hall, call or email our departments. However you choose to participate, thanks for making Tamarac “The City For Your Life”.
