As you may already know, Broward County voters will decide whether to pass a half-penny infrastructure surtax and a half-penny transportation surtax in the General Election.  If both proposals are approved, a one penny sales surtax will go into effect countywide on January 1, 2017, generating funds for municipal infrastructure projects and the County’s transportation projects for the next 30 years.

Find the list of Tamarac’s infrastructure projects that the proposed penny surtax could help fund at www.APennyAtWork.com.  Weigh in on Tamarac’s Open City Hall on what projects you’d like to see the City use the surtax to fund, if it passes.
