I think a block grant to beatify and stabilize our community is key and essential to having a safe and keeping a great community. Tamarac has serious termite problems and in my community, homes are all infested with termites that people are deciding to move out. If people move out, the community collapses and the city looses money and depreciates in more ways than one. No one wants to live in a run down dilapidated looking community. Therefore, helping the home owners to fix their homes roofs, termite etc, is essential to keeping a lively, beautiful safe community.

The proposed Annual Action Plan for the use of community development seems to be clear, however maybe adding the criteria to be qualified for the grant should be stipulated somewhere in the proposal.
