I think for the woodlands community and the city of Tamarac should concider the possibility of addressing the city ordnance regarding fencing in the community. The city is changing. These outdated ordnances should reflect a 2015 community. Some of these ordnances are 30, 40 or 50 years old. We have security issues, privacy issues, children, pets and cayotes. I understand it is a golf community but surely a common sense solution is possible. Maybe homes facing the golf course having an open fencing while the home further out having full fencing...of course covered by hedges. We need to have policies that look towards the future and our changing community.

I live in Tamarac Lakes South and the parking has gotten way out of hand. I moved here in 2004 and the Parking Law was that no one was to be able to park on the street after 2 am. I understand this Law is still on the books ! But no one is enforcing it. My development has 2 overflow parking areas that are mostly empty. The City (you) made it mandatory (2 years ago) that we completely rip up and repave these parking lots (at great expense) that are not being used, mostly because the city will not enforce the rules and Laws that are already on the books. Please don't get into the neighborhood is changing, It's Changing for the worse. I've gone over with this with my HOA board and they blame it on the city (you) and BSO. I moved here with these rules and I'd like to see my public servants do their Job to preserve my neighborhood and not let it slide into looking like the HOOD. Enforce the Rules, just think how much revenue you could be making from parking tickets. May I remind you part of your job is to keep and preserve our City

Parking is a big problem! People are parking on the wrong side of the street, on the curve (double yellow line), to close to the corner and under stop signs. We can’t back out of our driveways, we can’t see going around the curve or turning a corner, we are zigzagging down the road blind. People are also speeding through this obstacle course at you.
Single family 2 bedrooms homes should be single families, not 8 to 10 people with 4 to 8 cars.

After the Garbage/bulk pick-up fees have been incorporated into our taxes, it seems Wastemanagement picks up what they want, whenever they want. In the past I was told anything not allowed on regular pick-up (leaves in bags) will be picked up with bulk. 2x bulk has left garbage bags of leaves. I've had to call and complain. Someone must have had a nice kickback for that "favor".

The light at NW 75 St. and Pine island Rd. is a working emergency light for the Fire Dept., it is not an operating traffic light for that intersection. This light should be a full functioning traffic light due to the heavy flow of traffic on Pine Island. It is a dangerous intersection and it is very difficult at times to get onto Pine Island Rd. from NW 75 St. As a walker it is impossible at times to cross the road because of the heavy flow of traffic traveling at a high rate of speed. There have been functions at the City Hall complex and we have wanted to walk to them but it is not safe crossing without a functioning traffic light. The light is there so we are not talking of a major expense, but the Mayor said at a meeting earlier this year, that the city of Tamarac has a nice nest egg to work with, if that be the case, throw a little of those funds toward the fire station light, please. Thank you, Ed Manns

Address the reason why water bills are about the same amount 8-9 months a year but lower the other 3-4 months. When I asked the people at the Water payment window they hemmed and hawed and never came up with a good reason. I -- and other neighbors who notice the same thing -- think they are not reading the meters monthly, but I have been told there is no "standard monthly amount" or minimum. Two people who do not alter their schedules, do the same chores with water monthly, and do little traveling should see the same amounts monthly. This is not what happens and I would like to know which charge is correct -- the higher amount 8-9 times a year or the lower amount 3-4 months a year.

Our Hoa at University Landings needs to enforce parking rules in our complex. Cars park on wrong sides of the street, across sidewalks and there are too many cars which brings down the value of our property. I suggest to keep up enforcement, owners should be required to live in their units.

I would like to see how we can get a turning light headed east on 81 street and pine island...there is only a turning light headed west and there is so much dangerous traffic at that intersection
