Throughout the year, the Virginia Beach Public Library hosts Community Conversations at the Meyera E. Oberndorf Central Library. These are small group conversations about topics of local and national interest. For future planning, please share your ideas for possible future topics.

Immigration is important because this issue has the liklihood of becoming a draw on city resources, budget, crime, etc.
Transportation modes is important because the city is commiting tons of money to a mode which is proven not to reduce congestion.
Energy is important because there is an inherent lack of emphasis on energy diversity in VB.

As it applies to immigration, discussion about VB's rumored status as a sanctuary city.
Where is homelessness on this survey? Just because you build a couple facilities in Bayside, the rest of the city is neglected.
