Throughout the year, the Virginia Beach Public Library hosts Community Conversations at the Meyera E. Oberndorf Central Library. These are small group conversations about topics of local and national interest. For future planning, please share your ideas for possible future topics.
Of the top five topics you rated highest, why are these important to you?
We have to be proactive with energy options and make sure we aren't committing future generations to bad decisions.
It's a national issue that needs to start with local decisions. Plus, my kids live in Virginia Beach.
Again, a national issue that needs to start with local attention.
Living in a resort town that is close enough to agricultural areas. We need a plan on how to protect our transient population as well as our locals.
Natural disasters happen here and I don't think I have any knowledge of how VB handles these kind of issues.
