Throughout the year, the Virginia Beach Public Library hosts Community Conversations at the Meyera E. Oberndorf Central Library. These are small group conversations about topics of local and national interest. For future planning, please share your ideas for possible future topics.

The money we are wasting on the light rail could go to our BMPs that are in desperate need for upkeep
We need to look at new constrction and renewables.
This goes with i had mentioned earlier. We have hundreds of BMPs and our engineers are way behind on the upkeep through no fault of their own. They are way under manned and under funded
Gun violence is getting way out of hand in surrounding areas and is creeping into our city
