The Cox equipment frequently malfunctions and needs to be replaced. We have had our main TV box replaced four times in two years. Every time this happens, I must take off work or have no tv until Saturday appointment is open. We also lose all our DVR'd shows because they are stored on the box. Cox gives us no credit for the lost service or recorded shows. This is especially frustrating because Cox charges us an extra fee for the DVR feature! In addition, The Cox repair person arrived after the scheduled appointment 3 out of the four times. In addition to these repairs, Cox had to replace our wireless modem once too. That is five repairs in two years... Five half days off work with no credit for lost service, my time or lost recorded shows. I have lived in seven States and three foreign countries, Cox has the worst customer service of ANY place I have lived.
