The VBPL website. I find good books from "VBPL Recommends", place a hold, and get an email when it arrives at my branch for me to pick it up. What could be more convenient?

Sometimes, kids are making too much noise and I can't enjoy peacefully browsing for books.

Every library branch I've been to, whether in VB or Chesapeake, has always had friendly, helpful staff who seem to genuinely enjoy what they're doing.
