The Downtown Coordinating Council (DCC) has commissioned a Walkability Analysis from Speck & Associates LLC, led by Jeff Speck, city planner and author of Walkable City: How Downtown Can Save America, One Step at a Time.
Research shows that cities can become more economically vital, more healthy, and more sustainable by reducing people’s dependence on the automobile, by making it easier and safer to walk and bike, and by encouraging more street life, especially downtown.
The survey in this topic is designed to gauge public response to Mr. Speck's draft report and public presentation on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at the Cox Business Center in downtown Tulsa.
