I am a mother of 4 children, ages 2-8 and believe the current combination of play ground and green space is ideal. Older children either do not use or rapidly grow tired of middle school play equipment. There is already ample access to this in the immediate area, while quiet green space is at a premium.
One of the children's most popular places to play is at the west end of the park "the bamboo forest" where they can play hide and seek and use their imagination in fantasy games.
