I would like to see unstructured green spaces with usable benches.

More and more of the parks in our neighborhood are being usurped for active uses such as soccer fields and playgrounds ( see Virginia Highlands and Eads Park as the latest examples). Nelly Custis Park is one of the few parks that is located centrally in the neighborhood rather than on the edges that has green space for casuaal use and it is important to keep a centrally located unstructured green space so people can read a book, walk a dog or toss a frisbee without worrying about getting hit by a soccer ball or run over by a tricycle.
