The most scarce resource in increasingly densely populated Arlington is green space. Parks in general have too much asphalt and other hard surfaces. Parks also have prioritized active play areas and fake Disneyfied pseudo nature, such as plastic logs/trees, over real natural settings. As more private lots are paved over to make MacMansions it is incumbent on the county to preserve green space, not provide play areas that the MacMansion homeowners can no longer find space for in their backyards.
