What other elements would you like to see included in the scope of work?
Besides the drainage problem, this park could simply use some beautification like planting more bushes and grading the grassy area and filling in dirt spots. There are already enough trash receptacles but they need to be moved near the entry gates. It would be great if the county would provide doggie poo bag dispensers near the trash receptacles for those times when we run out of bags ourselves. The park could use a few more benches and tables, maybe a touch nicer than the ones there now.

My kids go to this park on occasion and mostly run and use the field. I love that they can be active and use their imagination and are not confined to the newest fad equipment someone thinks they need. I would rather the county invest in preserving and beautifying our public spaces before adding more equipment and facilities that are not needed and will just weather with age and require more upkeep. We walk our dog in the park sometimes too. This should not become a dog park either but it does need to be dog friendly because dogs have to be able to get outside and run and socialize and it getting harder to find places where they can do that.
