The surveys seem reasonable, but I'm afraid that too few people participate. Community meetings with members of the County Board might be useful, but I'm not convinced they listen. They seem to come to meeting with their minds already made up. How do you make people listen who do not want to hear?

Don't let Arlington's high density spread any further from the metro corridors. Keep our green space green. Distribute affordable housing evenly throughout the county. Don't let the County become Balkanized.
