    Enjoying a new park and playground with my grandchildren. Also, continuing to hike the Lubber Run area and enjoy an open and natural setting in what is now the surrounding area around the existing building

    • Few times per year
  • What types of spaces and uses should the new Lubber Run Community Center have?

    Rec Center for children. Meeting areas for adult community activities (eg lectures, crafts, etc.)

    It should not be used for any residential development, nor any other non-community center functions.

  • When you think about the immediate area surrounding a new Lubber Run Community Center, what type of spaces and uses should be accommodated on the site?

    It should not be developed. Use the existing footprint of the building for any new rec center. Tear up the parking area and use all the surrounding land for parks, playgrounds, trails, and picnic areas

  • In what ways can a new Lubber Run Community Center have an impact on the community?

    It can help preserve some of the last remaining open area in the county, provide children with playgrounds, and provide a beautiful setting for hiking, family picnics, jogging, and biking.
