  • When you think about a new Lubber Run Community Center, what do you envision yourself doing there?

    Ideally an indoor soccer, volley ball, and multisport arena. Arlington lacks strong facilities for Indoor Training. Many of these activities end up occurring in other counties due to Arlington's lack of facilities.

  • What types of spaces and uses should the new Lubber Run Community Center have?

    Indoor Soccer and multisport arena.

  • When you think about the immediate area surrounding a new Lubber Run Community Center, what type of spaces and uses should be accommodated on the site?

    I don't believe the area lends itself to outdoor field space, but a combo of a high quality indoor center and outdoor nature space might work nicely here.

  • In what ways can a new Lubber Run Community Center have an impact on the community?

    Provide a location for indoor soccer since the Gunston Bubble is deficient in every way and Barcroft does not lend itself to being an indoor arena for soccer or lacrosse.

  • Do you have a favorite community center in Arlington? If so, which center and why is it your favorite?

    Sadly, do not have one. Spend a lot of time in basketball gyms and the Gunston Bubble. Nothing really impressive.
