  • When you think about a new Lubber Run Community Center, what do you envision yourself doing there?

I see a place like Arlington Mills and Barcroft Community Centers, taking our child to gymnastics or basketball, art classes or music classes (for our child or adults).

  • Do you or members of your household currently participate in activities at the Lubber Run Community Center?
    • Yes
  • If yes, approximately how often do you or members of your household visit the Lubber Run Community Center?
    • Few times per month
  • What types of spaces and uses should the new Lubber Run Community Center have?

Indoor courts, gymnastics gymnasium and community rooms for adult and children's classes.

  • When you think about the immediate area surrounding a new Lubber Run Community Center, what type of spaces and uses should be accommodated on the site?

A great playground, possibly a baseball diamond, or just a natural playground and shade for picnics.

  • In what ways can a new Lubber Run Community Center have an impact on the community?

It can provide spaces for indoor sports for this mid-Arlington area, and plenty of community space for seniors, adults and children. Similar to Arlington Mills and Barcroft combined, without the affordable housing attached (the surrounding schools are already over-crowded).

  • Do you have a favorite community center in Arlington? If so, which center and why is it your favorite?

My favorite's as listed above are the Barcroft Community Sports facility because of the access to gymnastics, and Arlington Mills, because of the great community space.

  • What is your home zip code?
    • 22203
