I hope we can do this. The team working on this proposal has done some hard work. Grateful to you all.

I agree with the proposed policies, but I would add other considerations (explain below).

Let's make sure that the impact on the schools in the areas where there is more affordable housing, i.e. Columbia Pike west are considered. Perhaps support of the community resident programs in these buildings, and, of course, by school board.

I'm not clear how to address. My own single almost middle age daughter with a 70,000 income had a very hard time finding an affordable apartment to rent. And she works for a worthy nonprofit in our county. Rental issue for mid income.
Question: Should opportunities for creating greater flexibility of housing types beyond the urban corridors that support both rental and ownership options be further studied?
Yes, I agree they should be further studied.
Comments (optional):
Yes, let's stay creative.
Additional comments on the Draft Affordable Housing Master Plan & Implementation Framework (optional):
Good work.
Some of My 22204 neighborhood fear the impact of new affordable housing on the Pike, but I see by your map that about 50% of AH is north of rt 50. I believe we need to build where housing is available....and commit to making our south Arlington schools the beat ever!
