If you use the sand volleyball court, how would you improve upon it?
No response. How often do you or others in your household use the playground at Quincy Park?
If you have children, in which age groups do they fall?
Do you have a FAVORITE PLAYGROUND in Arlington? Please share what your favorite playground is and what you enjoy in it.
Nina Park because it's a fenced and shaded playground with lots of toys the community has left there to share. We also like Potomac Yard park because it has really big play structures and lots of fun and unusual play things. Clemyjontri also has a lot of play options, which makes it really fun. But the last two playgrounds are not shaded, which is essential with young kids.
What play element does children in your household most prefer?
The intent of the new playground is that it will use 'universal’ design features. That is, children with disabilities and for children without disabilities. With that being said, are there any other features you would like to see at the playground?
Something that fosters creativity. Perhaps with features that the children can manipulate, so they don't always play the same way. Water play would be great!
What are your hopes, expectations and/or ideas for the playground?
I could only select one play element. The others are: swings, slides, raised platforms, balance beams, bridges, and sand.
