"Growing demand for bar crawls?" Why is this a priority for the county? As others have pointed out, many attendees are not Arlington County residents, yet county resources are used to support the events. Having a good time is one thing, but inappropriate behavior, property damage, and disturbing the peace are not acceptable. It seems that these bar crawls appeal to a limited age group, and it would behoove them to learn and understand that the world doesn't revolve around them. There was a time when perhaps these events would have appealed to me. Nowadays, you couldn't pay me to go anywhere near Clarendon during one of these events, and I don't think I'm alone in that sentiment. I do not believe that bar crawls add to the quality of life in Arlington County--I've been a resident for many years and used to take pride in living here. Now I'm not so sure.
