Help shape Piedmont's updated Hazard Mitigation Plan! We're developing a roadmap for what the City can do now that could reduce risk from naturals hazards like earthquakes and wildfires.
Mitigation actions could include things like:
- updating or adopting new policies, like strengthening building codes
- infrastructure projects like retrofitting or rebuilding critical facilities
- developing programs to help residents make their properties more resilient
Creating our mitigation strategy is a whole community process - participation from residents is essential. Share your suggestions for steps you'd like to see the City take to mitigate risk by clicking the "Add Your Idea" button below.
Guidelines for participation:
- You can submit as many suggestions as you like.
- Your suggestions will be visible to other visitors to this forum. You can choose to show your responses with or without your name attached.
- If there's something you'd like to see included in the mitigation strategy, you should submit your suggestion even if someone else has already shared a similar idea!
