We want to hear about your knowledge, experiences, and opinions around home electrification projects like adding solar panels, heat pumps, or EV chargers.
The City's Sustainability Division is working with a community Task Force to develop a strategic plan for how to transition Piedmont's residential buildings off natural gas and onto renewably sourced electricity - a vital part of achieving the City's climate goals. This survey is intended to help staff and the Task Force better understand:
- community perspectives on home electrification
- what challenges residents face when trying to electrify
- where there are opportunities to provide support.
