The project is to renovate the two playground areas at the Cedar Heights Community Center.
Playground Area 1 has an existing large playground at the southern end of the parking lot. This playground provides play features to accommodate ages 2-5 and 5-12. The current equipment is nearing the end of its lifecycle. Below is the concept site plan and 3D rendering of the Playground Area 1 (south of the parking lot).
Existing Conditions Playground Area 1 – at end of parking
Playground Area 2 has an existing play area that is fully fenced, adjacent to the building on the west side. The play structures and surfacing in this area are in need of replacement. In response to the community’s changing recreational needs, an inclusive and multi-generational recreation space was requested to meet the needs of many ages. Below is the draft concept that will replace the existing Playground Area 2.

We want to hear from YOU, the community, on the top three preferred activities you most want to see in the multi-generational play space in Playground Area 2. The highest vote will go into the "shuffleboard area" currently pictured in the draft concept attachment.
