What would you do to improve service delivery?
Massive training in de-escalation tactics, not rushing to assume a situation requires police violence or threats of violence. Invest in victim services, especially for children. Focus on speedy resolution to homicide cases. Expedite warrants when a person is missing under suspicion of being abducted. Train responding officers in non-biased court testimony. More transparency of case files to victim's families, prioritizing over media. Train your dogs better. A false positive cost me a good job and much strife. Train your detectives thoroughly rule out all homicide persons of interests (as potential suspects) EARLY in the investigation, not just before the trial. Train your detectives to interview homicide case witnesses EARLY in the investigation, not just before the trial.
