Why are we not thinking of improving and making safer bicycling around the universities and perhaps schools, specifically, Hampton Blvd., where most cycling is done, and improving those routes to the universities and schools ???!
Safe cycling around Ghent and Colley would be super nice as it is more "neighborhoodish," close-by, and interesting with people and places to eat.
Cycling downtown is really quite a distance away, and has no particular personal interest for leisure and eateries.
