Milpitas Resident Satisfaction Survey

It's that time of year again - the City Manager is preparing recommendations for the annual budget based on existing Council Priority Areas and input from the Council and the public. 

From November 28 through December 21, 2022, a community satisfaction survey of Milpitas adult residents was conducted. It was an “address-based”, statistically valid survey that included a combination of phone numbers, emails, and residential addresses and was made available in English, Mandarin, Spanish, and Vietnamese.

As part of this year's budget process, a secondary online survey is being implemented to gather more input from community members. The research results will help the City gauge resident sentiment, uncover new insights, identify trends and fill in knowledge gaps on important topics that will help inform strategic budget decisions.

Per the, FY 2023-24 Budget Calendar, the City Manager will release the FY 2023-24 Proposed Budget on April 28, 2023. The FY2023-24 Proposed Budget will be presented to Council at the budget study session on May 9, 2023.
