Each year, the City receives Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) to support activities that provide decent housing, establish and maintain suitable living environments, and expand economic opportunity in the City to primarily benefit low- and very low-income residents of Midland. To allocate these funds in the best interest of the community, City Planning and Community Development asks residents for their feedback.
Topics of discussion in this survey will include neighborhood focus, public facility improvements, housing rehabilitation, fair housing practices, affordable housing and senior housing facilities, and general CDBG-eligible needs in our community.
All feedback is used by the City Planning and Community Development staff and provided to HUD to assist in developing the City's Consolidated Plan and the Annual Action Plan for the CDBG program. Residents are not required to make their answers publically viewable to other survey respondents on this survey.
