Review & share input on the City's draft 2026-2030 Parks & Recreation Master Plan
Share your input on the goals & actions in the 2026-2030 Parks & Recreation Master Plan
The City of Midland has developed this Parks & Recreation Master Plan to serve as a guideline to improve recreation facilities and develop new recreational opportunities. This document forms the basis to guide policy for implementation of improvements and new initiatives that will meet the recreational goals and interests of the Midland community. This plan was guided by the City of Midland Parks and Recreation Commission, with input from the Parks supervisory staff team, the assistance of consultant PM Blough, Inc., and input received from the public via this platform earlier in 2025.
With the draft plan now available for review, the City asks residents and visitors to review two sections of the document; the Goals and the Actions. This survey topic will provide an opportunity to give feedback right on the document itself for these sections. To review the full document before taking the survey, check out the document link below. If you're not interested in learning more about the plan and only want to read the goals and actions, skip straight to the feedback section of this topic instead.
The public input received on the draft plan will be compiled and shared with City staff, the Midland City Council, and the general public at the January 12, 2026 meeting of the Midland City Council. This topic will end at midnight on Friday, January 9 to allow staff time to compile and prepare survey results for presentation at this meeting.
