Help us prioritize the goals and objectives for the City Modern Master Plan. (This is a long survey)
Hey, Citizens Academy! Have more than a few minutes to spare?
Share your vision of the City for the next mid-century! Help us prioritize goals and objectives for the Midland City Modern Master Plan.
In this survey, you will be asked to rate the importance of items within the goals and objectives being considered by the City Planning Commission to include the City's Midland City Modern Master Plan. (Not sure what a Master Plan is or what it does? Start here!) You'll do that by spending 'dots' on the items that are most important to you in the same way you - or the City - would spend money. This survey is similar to the same exercises done by the City Planning Commission during its recent master planning work sessions.
The items within this survey cover many different elements of City operations and community needs. This exercise will help us understand what programs, services, and infrastructure are most important to members of our community as we plan for the future of Midland over the next 25-30 years.
How long will this take?
This survey should take you approximately 20-30 minutes to complete. If you only have a few minutes to spend on this topic, we recommend taking a shorter and less-detailed version of this survey here. You can always come back and take this longer survey later when you have more time. If you previously took the short version of this survey and now want to share more detailed feedback, you can take this survey.
How will the results be used?
Results from this survey will be used by City staff and the City Planning Commission to finalize goals, objectives, and strategies for the City of Midland Master Plan. We'll also talk about some of these results and what they mean at our class on Wednesday, February 8.
The deadline to participate in this survey is Monday, February 6 at 5 p.m. Click the button below to begin the survey.
