Los Alamos County is updating its Bicycle Transportation Plan and wants your input to ensure community needs are met.
Please tell us about your bicycling habits, and how we can better support them moving forward. Your input will help shape our plan, which will be considered by the County Council in June 2017.
Background
The Bicycle Transportation Plan was originally created in 2005. In 2016 the Transportation Board recommended it be updated based on community and council interest. As part of that process, there have been ongoing meetings with a subcommittee of many stakeholders, such as: multiple County departments’ staff; personnel involved in the community, such as the superintendent from Bandelier National Park; County board and commission chairmen; and other concerned citizens. In addition, County staff has been requesting public input through on-going public meetings and events and invites everyone to provide feedback via this online survey. For details regarding future public meetings and events please visit the County's website at http://www.losalamosnm.us/government/departments/public_works/engineering___project_management_division/.
