Tell us about the best times you have had in and around Downtown Littleton. Thinking about that experience, what was involved that made is stand out above the rest? Who else was involved? Can you please describe this in detail?
We always have a great time in downtown Littleton and surrounding areas. We love witnessing the balanced growth of the area which is drawing fabulous new restaurants and such. Back in 2006 - 2009 downtown was a Ghost Town with very few places to enjoy. Now it vibrant and beautiful. We love visiting all the great places and events. The Block Party is an amazing event.
Values & Vision (Part 1): What do you value most about Downtown Littleton?
How it is continually improving and growing in a balanced manner. It is wonderful to see all the improvements being made to the homes and building. The outward growth is great to see with lots of young families moving here. Surrounding areas used to be pretty sketchy and now not so much. Can hardly wait to see what it looks like in the next decade. We also love how the Platte River area is improving including have Angelos/CarBoy Winery and Breck Brewery coming in/
Values & Vision (Part 2): When you are downtown, what makes Littleton stand out from other communities of similar size/demographic?
Light Rail, Ability to walk around, ample parking, Cleanliness, Watching young families build their homes and start businesses,
Three Wishes: What three wishes would you make to heighten the vitality and health of Downtown Littleton?
1.) Oust the Sunset Group who are always anti - growth and interrupting City Council meetings. It's time to Sunset them - they are so negative and anti - everything with the exception of wanting Littleton to be backwards thinking no change area - they are selfish self center and don't care about the future and vitality of the great City
2.) Energize Sundays. Too many places close. City or HDLM should work together to improve this slow day of week
3.) Stop thinking of just downtown littleton and start thinking all of Littleton. There is more to it than just mainstream
