Tell us about the best times you have had in and around Downtown Littleton. Thinking about that experience, what was involved that made is stand out above the rest? Who else was involved? Can you please describe this in detail?
I really enjoy the outdoor events. The Block Party, Littleton Rocks, WWW Parade Day, Criterium and the Candle Light Walk. I love when we showcase downtown and give people a chance to walk around without the crazy traffic running down Main Street. The more outside events we do the more you feel like you live in Colorado.
Values & Vision (Part 1): What do you value most about Downtown Littleton?
I love all the restaurants and the nostalgic look and feel. In the evenings it has started to become a destination place to dine and have fun. The City Council needs to embrace the future and plan for this.
Values & Vision (Part 2): When you are downtown, what makes Littleton stand out from other communities of similar size/demographic?
Definitely the historic preservation and the independent family owned small businesses.
Three Wishes: What three wishes would you make to heighten the vitality and health of Downtown Littleton?
1) In the evenings Downtown Littleton is becoming a destination place to dine and have fun. The City needs to embrace this and help the small businesses by promoting collectively.
2) Get together with RTD and do a multi-level parking structure on the existing lot(s) to accommodate increased parking demands.
3) I would love to see the fireworks show on the 4th of July be relocated to the downtown area from Cornerstone Park. With all the options downtown it would be a better event.
