Tell us about the best times you have had in and around Downtown Littleton. Thinking about that experience, what was involved that made is stand out above the rest? Who else was involved? Can you please describe this in detail?
Wonderful times celebrating special occasions with loved ones. Fun girls nights out. But shops should stay open a bit later so shopping and dinner can be combine / 5pm is too early to close.
Values & Vision (Part 1): What do you value most about Downtown Littleton?
Charm, character, walkable, local shops (no chains) another cafe would be nice (read- not bar) -- so bummed JaJa is gone.
Values & Vision (Part 2): When you are downtown, what makes Littleton stand out from other communities of similar size/demographic?
DT Littleton has a creative and local vibe along with character and with great dining and shopping. It's what Cherry Creek was 35 years ago before it got snooty. It's the European walkable town idea with character and idea that the Denver metro has so little of. Add in a couple of fresh food shops (butcher/produce/cheese) and it would be perfect.
Three Wishes: What three wishes would you make to heighten the vitality and health of Downtown Littleton?
Longer parking options. 2 hours isn't enough time to share a nice meal or shop let alone both. Doing so requires one to move their vehicle multiple times which can be very difficult during high traffic times - how about parking meters that allow up to 3 or 4 hours - much easier to go feed the meter than move your vehicle. Also if you are going to give tickets for parking 13" away from the curb you should inform people via signs or paint your boxes narrower. The box size implies that if your vehicle is within its lines that it is ok - however this is not the case - I have gotten a ticket to prove it.
