Tell us about the best times you have had in and around Downtown Littleton. Thinking about that experience, what was involved that made is stand out above the rest? Who else was involved? Can you please describe this in detail?
Bringing out of town company to Littleton to walk through the stores and dine.
Values & Vision (Part 1): What do you value most about Downtown Littleton?
The small town feel that makes it completely different from Denver. If I wanted to live in a city of apartments, I would be living in Denver, not Littleton. Please do not destroy this city with too many apartments and high rises.
Values & Vision (Part 2): When you are downtown, what makes Littleton stand out from other communities of similar size/demographic?
What makes Littleton stand out is that there are NOT high rise buildings in downtown, except for the monstrosity, The Grove, which will be hovering over our quaint historic downtown. The buildings are original and historic. Our city council, planning board and historic preservation board need to preserve what makes Littleton different. Not every city the size of Littleton has such a unique downtown and we the citizens and city leaders and boards need to remember this and preserve this uniqueness. The reason most live in Littleton is because of the small town historic feel.
Three Wishes: What three wishes would you make to heighten the vitality and health of Downtown Littleton?
Keep it historic by limiting the height of buildings.
Do not allow the Historic Preservation Board to give exceptions to parking to new businesses.(there is no place to park as it is).
Do not give up important Retail Zoned areas for apartments. Littleton has very little vacant land left and it is important to keep our retail. Littleton is not lacking in apartments and we need Retail to keep our city financially stable.
