Tell us about the best times you have had in and around Downtown Littleton. Thinking about that experience, what was involved that made is stand out above the rest? Who else was involved? Can you please describe this in detail?
We have had many enjoyable days in Downtown Littleton. These include the parades, festivals, shows, restaurant, bar and shop visits. We often run into friends we know from around the community and we have invited friends to join us at times.
Values & Vision (Part 1): What do you value most about Downtown Littleton?
The diversity of businesses and activities available there.
Values & Vision (Part 2): When you are downtown, what makes Littleton stand out from other communities of similar size/demographic?
There are several similar business districts like this around Denver but this one is close to our house and when we are here we often see people we know around town. I feel like Downtown Littleton is comparable to the district in the Platt Park neighborhood (S. Pearl and Florida) or the Wash Park neighborhood (Mississippi and Gaylord) or Berkeley (44th and Tennyson) or Downtown Golden. Littleton has a really nice mix of activities and unique shops. It's good to have students, employees and residents around the area of all ages to keep it lively at all hours.
Three Wishes: What three wishes would you make to heighten the vitality and health of Downtown Littleton?
Even more unique shops (I was sad to see the candy store go - something for kids would be nice since there's a lot of bars and adult activities down there now). More art venues always add to a community (I like the murals - that's what makes RINO - River North Arts District - so cool). Keep some green space and maybe add an amphitheater somewhere (community gathering spaces are vital).
