Tell us about the best times you have had in and around Downtown Littleton. Thinking about that experience, what was involved that made is stand out above the rest? Who else was involved? Can you please describe this in detail?
Meeting for lunch at Gracefull Cafe with my art students. There were 10 senior citizens who met for lunch before class. The atmosphere was calm, quiet and comfortable and everyone who goes there is treated as if they are an important part of the community. I don't get this response from any other place downtown so do not frequent any other place.
Values & Vision (Part 1): What do you value most about Downtown Littleton?
???? Probably the old town look to it, which reminds me of other places I've been where I felt comfortable.
Values & Vision (Part 2): When you are downtown, what makes Littleton stand out from other communities of similar size/demographic?
It reminds me slightly of McKinney, TX but lacks the same kind of "class" and friendliness.
Three Wishes: What three wishes would you make to heighten the vitality and health of Downtown Littleton?
Fix the trees, lots are dying and may not survive but all need to be trimmed and adding more flowers in pots or raised boxes would soften the "look" of downtown and make it more inviting. This would be more inviting than odd signs on the corners directing people off the main street.
I do like driving through the area in the holiday season at night to see the lights.
