In one word, how would you describe the Santa Fe Drive and Mineral Avenue intersection?
bustDid you watch the video about the Santa Fe and Mineral quadrant roadway (quad road)?
[If the answer is yes to #2] Do you have any questions or concerns about the quad road solution?
Yes, I have concerns. The quad road ADDS left turns to new intersections near the main intersection of Santa Fe and Mineral. How does that save time? That just means more left turns crossing busy streets filled with traffic. It makes no sense. What do you think of the quad road solution?
In one word, how would you hope to describe the new and improved Santa Fe Drive and Mineral Avenue intersection in the future after improvements are constructed?
confusingOverall, do you have any questions or concerns about the project?
I'm not at all convinced that the quad road option solves any of the traffic problems at that intersection. From what I understand, it adds numerous left turns to intersections near the main intersection which means more left turns crossing traffic --- this type of turn is the most dangerous. It certainly won't save drivers time if they have to make 2-3 extra turns to get to their destination. The whole concept seems quite unproductive and makes traffic in the area more confusing than it already is. I'm not a fan of this proposal.
