  • In one word, how would you describe the Santa Fe Drive and Mineral Avenue intersection?
    Frustrating
  • Did you watch the video about the Santa Fe and Mineral quadrant roadway (quad road)?
    • Yes
  • [If the answer is yes to #2] Do you have any questions or concerns about the quad road solution?
I wonder, is this solution like putting on a band-aid instead of performing surgery?
  • What do you think of the quad road solution?
    • It’s okay
  • In one word, how would you hope to describe the new and improved Santa Fe Drive and Mineral Avenue intersection in the future after improvements are constructed?
I think the quad road idea is a practical option for most intersections, but I think the Santa Fe and Mineral intersection will quickly overrun the usefulness of the quad road.

If Littleton is really wanting to prepare for growth and success, why not just devote the resources toward preparation for an interchange? That seems to be the logical direction for the future. Why not do that before traffic counts get even higher? Induced demand certainly is a reality to consider, but as one of the few north-south through arterials in the city, it's not like there are many other routes to use anyway. Let's do the hard work of an interchange now so it's safer and better for the long term.
