How should the City of Littleton address its responsibility to the regional housing crisis?
Our city needs to be very wise to this housing need not to crowd our traffic flow and accessibility to the stores and shops that are available. Littleton needs to spread out it's housing development and not concentrate on the downtown area. This area is already overgrown and has very little parking and is crammed. This breaks down our desire to visit the shops and restaurants in our beautiful historic downtown as well as makes it unsafe for family members or young adults to enjoy the trail system and town on their own as well as seniors. Littleton is very large and the space should be utilized while also considering keeping open space open and the view of the mountains and all the beauty that surrounds us accessible to see and enjoy. Human congestion, automobiles, noise congestion all leads to more chaos and depression. It is not littleton's responsibility to overbuild, other cities can address this and people will have to get used to the ideas of using the trains and commuting in much like most the world. Keep Littleton special and beautiful, clean, healthy, safe and a prosperous place for people to have joy and promote family living and wellness.
