    Large multi-use 4 & 5 story buildings like the two on Littleton Blvd (Vita & Littleton Station condos) lowered the historic character of the downtown area. The city council allowed these ugly flat roofed, modern monstrosities to be constructed --- and did not even follow the then zoning for these locations, just to get the tax revenue really was poor planning.

    And the early removal of some of the historic buildings downtown with ugly poorly designed modern, multi-story buildings for commercial use with apts above really changed and lowered the character of the south-east end of the downtown.
