In 2021, the Lawrence and Douglas County Planning Commission authorized the Planning and Development Services Department to create neighborhood plans to incorporate into the City’s existing comprehensive plan, which is known as Plan 2040. The department is now working on the neighborhood plan for East Lawrence.
The East Lawrence neighborhood has historically engaged with neighborhood planning efforts, including a previously adopted neighborhood plan: East Lawrence Revitalization Plan. To update the plan for East Lawrence, the Planning and Development Services Department would like input from the public on a number of areas. The following survey will help provide information to guide the development of the plan.
Please note: This is not a scientific survey but rather a tool to gather information about interests and concerns about the neighborhood.
