I am assuming vibrant means more jobs for our people.
Do you have any additional comments about the strategy you’d like to share with City staff?
Bring jobs into our city. We no longer have many companies, business that at one time made our city diverse, progressive and vibrant; The business that made Lawrence are gone-example; Kansas Color Press, Farmland, Journal-World printing their own paper, we have no furniture stores-forcing people to go to Kansas City to Nebraska Furniture Mart s, or Sears, or JC Penny, no local lumber yards. Given the current climate, I am surprised that Lawrence Paper Co. is still going along with FMC plant in North Lawrence-
