What would be the impacts if certain County parks are closed?

loss of access to scenic recreational areas. If the county is planning on increased tourism to generate income for the local businesses, presenting a shoddy appearance has a negative impact. Word of mouth is a powerful method of disseminating desirable qualities to potential new tourists and returning tourists. Do you really want the word to be, "forget Humboldt, everything is privately owned and the only parks are thrillingly expensive and the facilities are locked or filthy."?
