    It seems odd to combine Fortuna and Willow creek, but I don't know enough about those communities to say

    I'd extend Arcata north instead of south, so it includes me--I'm west of Arcata in the bottoms but Arcata is my town

    As I said above, I think the Arcata Bottom should be with Arcata not McKinleyville

    Mostly I think it's really odd to kind of go around Humboldt Bay to connect Fortuna and Willow Creek

    I don't know how the population numbers work but it seems odd to put Fortuna with the southwest part of the county and not with the small towns near it.

    I like it that it's kind of neat, a low boundary/area ratio

    I like including blue lake, fickle hill, and Kneeland with Arcata, plus the Arcata bottom

    I'd extend the south boundary a little further south so Henderson center was with the main part of eureka. but I don't know what parts of Eureka I'd exclude. But it does look odd, that cutout section with Henderson Center and Sequoia Park. Run it straight across, further north if you need to, but it looks like someone's manipulating something.

    Full county:
    I'm biased in favor of this one because it puts me where I want to be, but I also like it in general because the districts look logical, they don't have odd extensions in various directions. It might put voters with different perspectives together but that could be a good thing

    Please don't design it around where any of the current supervisors live or any other factors that shouldn't matter.
